A group of BSV students are participating in the World Challenge program created by the United Kingdom, which offers a range of overseas travel plans targeted at schools. The World Challenge team has worked very hard to raise money for their trip selling cakes, bracelets and other items. They are so lucky that they are taking with them a blanket knitted by the Year 6 students. The group will travel to Tanzania on June 26th to July 11th to work in a primary school where they will help in the construction of new classrooms in a small village in southern Tanzania called Msosa.
If you want to know more about their day-to-day activities we’ve created a new category in our blog, ‘World Challenge Tanzania’ where students will be sharing their impressions and experiences in the form of a travel journal. Keep in mind that they may not have Internet access so it might be difficult for them to share new information on a daily basis.
