British School of Valencia (BSV) is a private school in the centre of Valencia offering British education to students of all nationalities aged between 2 to 18. BSV strives to offer a different and distinct educational model based on academic excellence and on the values of respect and tolerance. Official certificates, British A-Levels and Spanish Bachillerato.
The use of technology allows us to place the students at the centre of their learning increasing their motivation, their productivity and collaboration. Our digital transformation programme focuses on the correct use of technology and on the protection and wellbeing of the students. We’ve introduced the 1-2-1 Device Programme in which each student has their own digital device and we’ve also implemented different learning platforms as well as the latest teaching software which includes Artificial Intelligence.
The emotional and physical wellbeing of the BSV community is at the heart of everything we do. Our wellbeing programme focuses on helping the students by supporting their physical and mental health whilst fostering a collaborative and cooperative learning, a positive mood and attitude and resilience amongst the entire school community.
At BSV we believe that Early Years Foundation Stage sets the basis of children’s intellectual learning. This is when students begin their learning journey in order for them to develop new knowledge and understanding. Having completely renovated facilities adapted to the age and needs of the students, encourage them to develop their imagination, creativity and full potential. Thanks to these flexible, safe and functional learning spaces, children are able to explore and enjoy their learning through multisensory experiences in a pleasant, comfortable and inspiring atmosphere.
As a British School we provide a quality British Curriculum which is known for its balance, depth and variety. An inclusive syllabus where the student is the lead in their own education. The high specialisation is one of most remarkable advantages of the British system. It offers great versatility for the students when putting together the structure of their Higher Secondary Education studies. This will allow them to obtain both official certificates, one for the British A-Level system and one for the Spanish Bachillerato helping them to succeed on both national and international universities from around the world.
Our school is part of Cognita which is an extraordinary family of diverse yet connected schools, spanning ten different countries. We share one common purpose: to create an inspiring world of education that builds self-belief and empowers individuals to succeed. Together, we provide a uniquely global education that goes beyond grades to develop all-round academic excellence-building resilient minds and encouraging positive, international perspectives. We do this by sharing expertise, insights and best practice across the world – and by collaborating to develop rich learning environments in every school. We equip young people with the confidence and resourcefulness that prepares them to grow, thrive and find their success in a fast-changing world.
