Facilities

In the heart of the city of Valencia

Located in the Ruzafa neighbourhood, our school enjoys a prime location near the city centre embracing a diverse community consisting of students aged 2 to 18 years old and representing over 50 nationalities.

Significant investment has been made in recent years to expand, renovate, and enhance its facilities for the benefit of the entire BSV community.

Learning spaces

British School of Valencia has flexible and functional classrooms that facilitate active and collaborative learning for all pupils.

BSV’s commitment with excellence can be seen in these facilities which aim to continue offering the best learning environment in line with the most advanced educational trends.

Early Years facilities

The Early Years facilities have been completely renovated and children enjoy dynamic and inspiring spaces where they are able to develop their imagination and creativity.

They have their own playground area equipped with swings and other games suitable for their age and a separate dining room. Their classrooms also include toilets to facilitate their independence.

Multipurpose classrooms

Classrooms include movable walls in order to adapt to the teachers and student’s needs and not vice versa.

They are all equipped with the latest technology including interactive touch screens no matter the student’s year group.

Art room and laboratories

The art room provides a space where students can express themselves creatively through different art techniques. Here they stimulate their imagination and explore new ideas and perspectives something which enriches their learning experience.

The Secondary and Sixth Form students also have three highly equipped laboratories where they can carry out practical sessions and other experiments. They all include a specific storage area for chemical and reactive substances.

Makerspace and study pods

BSV also has a makerspace which allows project-based learning and collaboration between students.

Study pods are distributed around the corridors allowing pupils to work independently or collaboratively.

This environment helps the pre-university students to become more independent whilst they gain more self-confidence and autonomy which will help them to face their future university studies.

Music room and soundproof booths

The music room offers a quiet and dedicated space for students to practice their instruments or vocal techniques. Having a designated practice area allows pupils to focus on refining their skills, improving their technique, and building their confidence in a supportive setting.

The three soundproof booths are designed to minimise external noise, creating an environment where individuals can engage in focused activities without distractions.

A place where students can learn, grow, and connect
