Dining Room Service

The British School of Valencia provides a dining room service to all parents who want their children to eat at school. The school has two independent cafeterias specially adapted to the needs of the different ages catered for in each section (timetables, menus, staff, etc.) Presently, 80% of pupils use this service.

The cafeteria aims to ensure mealtimes at school are as pleasant as possible for pupils, placing special emphasis on education while also ensuring they receive a balanced diet. We aim to instil socially acceptable as well as healthy eating habits and conduct, encouraging self-sufficiency in the youngest pupils as far as age allows.

Pupils are not allowed to bring their own food from home (save for a morning and/or afternoon snack).

School menus are drawn up by specialist nutritionists under our supervision. We always strive to provide a varied, quality and balanced diet. Menus are sent home to parents sufficiently in advance in order to co-ordinate a balanced diet at home.

In order to cover all the dietary needs of our pupils we offer five different types of menu per day. Choosing one or another will always depend on a prior preference expressed by parents.
